Timothy Nee Timothy B. Nee is President and Owner of both Dorman Consulting Associates and TEACH Insurance, LLC. An experienced marketer and product manager, Mr. Nee has held positions with direct profit and loss responsibility as a Product Manager with Progressive Casualty Insurance Company and as Director of State Operations with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Mr. Nee has experience in all marketing channels, including independent agencies, captive agencies, internet, and inbound/outbound telemarketing. Mr. Nee has also been Director, Marketing and Analysis with Capital One Small Business and a Consultant with Bain & Company, an international management consultancy.

Mr. Nee earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors from the University of Virginia and holds a Master of Business Administration with honors from the Harvard Business School.

Steve McKay Steve McKay is Chief Product Development Officer for Dorman Consulting Associates. Prior to joining us, Mr. McKay was a Product Manager at Progressive Casualty Insurance Company for more than a decade, where he held profit and loss responsibility for a wide variety of states. Mr. McKay also designed and implemented numerous product innovations. Most recently, Mr. McKay was responsible for marketing and customer experience for Progressive’s industry-leading usage-based insurance product, called MyRate. He has previously been a Business Manager for Capital One Services and an associate at Corporate Decisions, Inc, a strategy consulting firm.

Mr. McKay holds a Master of Business Administration and a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Virginia and an AB from Harvard College.

Mr. Nee and Mr. McKay will teach all public seminars for 2010.

Rick Dorman Richard W. Dorman founded Dorman Consulting Associates in 1986. He is a thirty-four year veteran of insurance and marketing, and former Vice President of Marketing for Progressive Casualty, one of the first companies to use product management successfully. Mr. Dorman was also one of their first product managers.

Richard Dorman is a graduate of the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and earned his Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the Harvard Business School.

Today, Mr. Dorman acts as a Consultant to Dorman Consulting Associates. His seminar activities are focused exclusively on our international expansion in Europe, Asia, South America, and Middle East/Africa.
